描出話法・二重否定の細かな文語表現
着眼点小説で見かける文体上の話法。
描出話法: 地の文の中で伝達動詞なしに人物の思考・発言を表す（Where was he now? He did not know.）。二重否定: not … without / no … but（例: There is no rule but has some exceptions.）。

例外のない規則はない。
ポイント入試ではほぼ長文の中で読むだけ。文法問題としては出にくいので後回しでよい。難関私大の長文読解に進むときに見直す。
