as の多義（時・理由・様態・比例・譲歩）
着眼点as は文脈で訳が決まる。後ろの節との関係を見る。

ポイント〈形容詞／副詞／無冠詞名詞＋as S V〉の語順は譲歩（〜だけれども）。原則 though より強調的。
注意理由の as は弱い理由で、because ほど強くない。時なら進行形・同時進行、比例なら比較級（older）が目印。
